My approach to real estate is founded on my understanding of the overall market drivers and trends, comparable sales data, as well as many construction and housing system issues that are important indicators of the overall “health” of a home (and red flags for buyers). It is my mission to help my buyer clients purchase the best home possible, in keeping with their family and investment goals, for the best possible price and terms, and with the least amount of stress.

The home search process is all about you and your goals. When we begin our work together, my sole intention is to understand what you are looking for, to help you find that home, and to help prepare you to present a winning offer for it. I will take you on tours of homes on the market, and will provide ongoing updates on homes that come on the market that meet your criteria. I will recommend good mortgage brokers to partner with you on your journey. I will negotiate vigorously on your behalf, will closely watch all the details of your purchase escrow process, and I will still be there for you – ready to answer any questions – even after the close of escrow.

As a buyer’s agent, my role is to represent your best interests – to help you see the best homes available to you, and to help you purchase the home you select. While all real estate professionals have a duty to exercise reasonable care and diligence, honesty, confidentiality and loyalty in their work with clients, I strive to go beyond these basic responsibilities. I pride myself on upholding the highest ethical standards and I am deeply committed to obtaining the best results I can for my buyer clients.

As your agent, I will: 

  • Listen closely… and help you define and refine your vision of your ideal home
  • Provide detailed neighborhood information and data for your consideration, and offer personal insights on neighborhoods that meet your criteria
  • Educate and guide you through the competitive landscape by (a) providing and interpreting information on recent neighborhood sales, and (b) analyzing market timing and purchase trends relevant to your purchase
  • Partner with you in the home search process by providing a combination of in-person showings, open home listings for your independent use, and reports on homes I have previewed for you
  • Offer referrals and coordinate work with trustworthy professionals for your mortgage, home inspections, and related needs
  • Advise you on the terms will make for a compelling and competitive offer, and write a “tight” and legally enforceable purchase offer
  • Skillfully negotiate to ensure you receive optimal terms on the purchase without losing sight of your “big picture” goals
  • Manage the escrow process so that the loan, inspection, contractual and title issues are kept on track, you are able to confidently remove any contract contingencies, and escrow closes in a timely manner; I create a timetable and track all escrow activities on behalf of allparties (including sellers) so that the process is professionally managed for your benefit.
  • Anticipate and proactively address any foreseeable challenges to a your successful purchase
  • Communicate regularly, and remain available to answer your questions quickly and thoroughly
  • Provide continued service beyond the close of escrow – offer referrals to home repair services and others. I will stay in touch!
