About Eagle

Eagle is a lovely town consisting of a blend of older homes, newly developed neighborhoods, and a good collection of businesses to serve its residents. The core of downtown Eagle runs for about five or six blocks on either side of E. State Street. The downtown includes everything from barbecue and pizza venues, to art and home decoration stores, to cafes and a men’s barbershop. There are several historic structures along this stretch, and also Eagle’s Heritage Park with its open lawn surrounding a white bandstand structure. A Farmer’s Market is held in the park on Saturdays from May through early October. Eagle residents have a variety of local restaurants, shops and everyday businesses to choose from in the area beyond the downtown. St. Luke’s Hospital has a presence in Eagle, to serve local residents, yet Eagle retains a sort of a “cozy but tony” small town flavor. As of the 2010 census, the population of Eagle was reported to be just over 19,900 people, but Eagle has grown dramatically over recent years and that population count will surely be much higher in 2020.
